## Compete for your chance at $1,500 in prizes
The 3-2-1 Quick Pitch Competition provides a platform for students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial prowess, hone their communication abilities, and showcase their presentation skills - all within a concise 3-minute pitch for a new business idea.
This unique opportunity not only allows participants to engage with fellow students, established entrepreneurs, and influential community leaders but also fosters idea development and valuable networking connections. The top 3 scores will be awarded $500 each.
### **Who can Compete**
Students at Northeast Community College and Wayne State College.
*Limited capacity, apply ASAP*
### **Pitch Requirements**
In the 3 minutes of your pitch, there are important things to include:
- A ‘hook’ such as a story or a statistic that shows interest in the problem
- Problem and solution statement
- Who will buy your product or service
- How you will make money
- Overall good presentation & enthusiasm
*Participants can pitch an idea, current business or any type of business.*
### Event agenda: March, 15 2024
4:00 PM: Check in + Registration
4:45 PM: Welcome
5:00 PM: Pitches Begin
6:00 PM: Judge deliberation
6:15 PM: Feedback to groups
6:30 PM: Awards + Networking
### Judges' Role Overview
- Each student will have three minutes to pitch, then judges will have two minutes for questions and answers.
- This is a learning experience for our students. Thank you for helping us to provide it.
- Winners will be decided by judges’ deliberations.
- Top 3 scores will win $500
- This is a timed event - please keep this in mind during deliberations and feedback to help us stay on track.
